Eighteen states and the District of Colombia have legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes. And as of November 6, 2012, two states have legalized the "recreational" use of marijuana by those 21 and older. And more states are poised to follow suit. Yet, numerous studies indicate that employees under the influence of pot at work are less safe, less reliable and cost more money to employ. What can employers do in what is increasingly becoming a legal impairment country? Can they still drug test for marijuana? Can they prohibit employees from bringing marijuana to work or being under its influence while on the job? Are certain drug testing methods such as oral fluid testing more suited today's more lenient environment? These and many other questions will be addressed in this fascinating webinar presentation on the "legal impairment" in the workplace.

Join well-known drug testing expert Bill Current for an informative presentation on the most recent developments related to employers' rights to maintain drug-free workplaces. Bill will explain what these new "legal" marijuana laws mean for employers. He will outline what employers can do to counter these laws with effective drug testing policies that ensure workplace safety and minimize the potentially catastrophic impact of marijuana use by employees.
