NIOSH announced that it will hold a public meeting to present results from a health study done on former workers at an IBM facility in Endicott, N.Y.
NIOSH began studying potential health outcomes among IBM workers in 2009 in a study that included more than 34,000 people who worked at the Endicott facility between 1969 and 2001. According to NIOSH, the study aimed to evaluate the cause of death and testicular cancer diagnoses among former workers, as well as birth defects in children of former workers
