Catch Up on Education Sessions Using NFPA’s Virtual Conference
There was plenty for attendees to see and do during the NFPA Conference & Expo, including attend one of the 130 education sessions offered on a wide range of topics from combustible dust hazards to the politics of fire enforcement. Attendees that missed out on a session can log onto NFPA’s Virtual Conference, which showcases 29 popular education sessions that were recorded live and are streamed on demand.
Some of the offerings include “Dust Explosions 101,” “Understanding the U.S. Fire Fighter Fatality Program in 2009,” “Fundamentals of the Life Safety Code,” and the keynote presentation, “Putting the ‘Fire’ Back in the U.S. Fire Administration: Shaping the Future.”
The sessions are displayed as PowerPoint presentations that are synchronized with audio of the speakers as they were presented in Las Vegas.
By viewing the online sessions, attendees can earn .1 CEUs for each one-hour session viewed online. The sessions will be available for 90 days after the conference.
