Best Buy Veteran Joins Maritz Research in Strategic Consulting Role
Maritz Research on March 18 announced Tom Krause as the new director of strategic consulting for the company's Retail Research Group. Krause has more than 20 years of retail research experience, including positions he held with Pillsbury's customer and consumer insights group and Best Buy, according to Maritz Research, which is part of Fenton, Mo.-based Maritz Inc., a motivation company involved in incentive and recognition programs, loyalty marketing, and research for customers in several industries, including financial services, hospitality, and retail.
Krause is located at Maritz's Minneapolis office. He managed research teams at Best Buy that were focused on brand, advertising, and enhancing customer-centricity efforts, according to the Maritz announcement.
