Occupational Health & Safety Magazine won an American Society of Business Press Editors (ASBPE) Western Region award in 2008 for its January 2007 75th Anniversary Special Section. The magazine won in the category for magazines of 80,000 circulation or more.

Managing Editor Ronnie Rittenberry's June cover story ("Air Rescue in 2007") also won one of the Regional ASBPE awards (West Region) in the Feature Article category.
