This session will discuss construction safety hazards and the various approaches to training based on the different levels of the hazard continuum.  These levels are determined by the type of hazard and the experience and position of the worker.  The levels can range from basic hazard awareness, to hazard control, to hazard elimination.  The session will discuss the use of administrative controls, personal protective equipment, fall protection, and fall arrest systems.  Attendees will hear actual examples of workplace injuries and learn of best practices, training strategies, and available resources to improve worker safety.
