HEPA Vacuum Cleaners Play Critical Role in EPA's Lead RRP

In 2008, in order to curb the occurrence of lead-related diseases, the EPA issued 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart E, also known as the Lead RRP. The EPA advises contractors use a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to safely collect and contain lead particulate in and around the work area. But the EPA does not certify or recommend any specific HEPA vacuum cleaners, so contractors are left to navigate the maze of vacuum options alone.

The following whitepaper clearly spells out what the EPA requires and how you can comply in order to avoid hefty fines.
