This session will discuss common problems found when conducting Program Evaluations at various worksites that would include overall effectiveness of your written program, typical deficiencies that are found in most workplaces, improper use and maintenance issues and human behavior. In addition, the presentation will discuss the roll and responsibility of the Program Administrator, their qualifications and oversight of the program based on its complexity.

Steven R. Myers, CFI has worked in the field of Occupational Safety and Health for 38 years. He started his career as a CSHO with Vermont OSHA before venturing off into the private sector as a consultant. He has worked with hundreds of businesses of various sizes in general industry, construction, health care and agricultural throughout the United States. Myers primary focus was educating small businesses in OSHA law. Steve also has acted as an expert witness in many cases throughout New England, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants. Now Semi-retired, Myers’s focus is to continue teaching OSHA law for the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Region 1 and Keene State College, where he has taught since 1999.
