According to dictonary.com, the definition of standardization is the process of making something conform to a standard. As an example, conducting training to ensure there is standardization of procedures at all of your locations. but what happens after the training? Did you find that you and or your employees are creating shortcuts and or modifying your processes to accomplish the same end goal? Improving efficiencies by creating these “so-called” shortcuts seems like a good way to improve efficiencies, but what happens to the end result? is it the same as your organization initially intended?
