Our country continues to experience a high number of disasters, both natural and man-made -- from the devastating Midwest floods this year to western wildfires, hurricanes that caused massive damage along our southern and eastern coasts, earthquakes, and mass shootings in Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, and other cities.

With all of these disasters, we're provided a glimpse into the operations and support that are needed to move from emergency response to recovery. This webinar will share lessons learned by organizations involved in past disasters, including those that occurred in 2018.

Vivian Marinelli is the Senior Director of Crisis Management Services for FEI Behavioral Health. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Psychologist in Wisconsin. She brings more than 20 years of work in direct clinical services specializing in trauma and grief counseling to her position, which focuses on assisting individuals involved in critical incidents. As the Senior Director of Crisis Management Services, she is responsible for leading and directing a full complement of emergency support services for corporate customers. She has been the principal architect in designing, developing, and continuing to oversee a highly successful team of specialists focused on supporting the critical needs of individuals, families and communities during disasters. She is recognized as a subject matter expert in community and organizational emergency response. She has provided support to the families and customers after many mass casualty disasters, including Egypt Air 990, the hijacked passengers of Saudi Arabian Flight 115, the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, bombings in Islamabad and Jakarta, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and Colgan Flight 3407, among others.
