Industrial Hygiene - Functional Processing of Collected Metrics

Alcoa has, for many decades, pursued a best in class Health and Safety work environment and has demonstrated industry leading performance in this area. This webinar will cover a few aspects from Alcoa’s Industrial Hygiene management program.

Organization and prioritization of Similar Exposure Groups (SEG) remains a challenge in Industrial Hygiene to manage the groups of workers having the same general exposure profile because of the similarity and frequency of the tasks they perform, the materials and processes with which they work, and the similarity of the way they perform the tasks. Structuring and sampling of metrics with similar frequency is critical to optimize work effort. In this webinar you will learn about:

  • SEG-setup best practices to facilitate consolidation and assessment workflow
  • Key considerations and calculations associated with Occupational Exposure Limits (OEL) and statistics
  • Laboratory data collection, processing and analysis
  • Exception management, prioritization, sampling, and reporting of SEG metrics
