How are Innovative Technologies Affecting your Workplace Culture

Emerging trends in technology-- such as virtual reality training, the Internet of Things and drones—are changing the landscape of health, safety, and sustainability every day. How will they enable us to prevent accidents and improve our culture? Will they allow us to take giant leaps forward in safety and productivity? The potential is there but ultimately, we must remember one thing: they are tools. Without understanding what it takes to create a “safety culture,” even the best technology will fall flat.

In this session, we will explore the safety implications of adding technology into the business model, new hazards around technologies, establishing a new way of thinking, and understanding what it takes to create a learning culture.

  • What strengths do these emerging trends play in the organization?
  • What unintended consequences emerge around companies leveraging new technologies?
  • Safety tips for implementing emerging technology into the business model.
  • Changing your learning culture - Learn first, safety later.
