Jose De la Maza, Business Development Manager for Salisbury Assessment Solutions
Jose De la Maza is the Business Development Manager for Salisbury Assessment Solutions, which is a division of Honeywell Industrial Safety.  In this role, Jose oversees strategic initiatives in an emerging market as more and more customers seek solutions to NFPA 70E compliance for their electrical safety needs.  Salisbury was acquired by Honeywell in 2008 and has continued to flourish ever since.  Salisbury by Honeywell is the industry leader in electrical safety equipment and consists of about 450 total employees and 2 factories in the US. 

Jose has been with Honeywell for over 11 years with increasing responsibilities and began his career with Salisbury 7 years ago as Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Leader based in Bolingbrook, IL. Jose then moved to Texas in 2014 after joining the Salisbury Assessment Solutions business team.  Over the last years, Jose has seen a major change in the electrical market regarding compliance needs for electrical safety and it has become apparent that each customer has their own electrical safety needs. Jose feels each and every day, Salisbury’s products and services are helping make a difference in the lives of electrical workers all around the world.  Jose interacts everyday with many Fortune 500 companies and as well has presented at VPPPA conferences and International Safety Expos. Jose and Salisbury play a very active role with OSHA, NFPA, ASTM, IEEE, IEC and many other organizations within the electrical safety industry. 

Jose resides with his wife Patricia and their daughter in Round Rock, TX, just outside of Austin.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Monterrey Mexico Tec (Class of 1999) and completed his MBA in 2005 from Michigan State University.
