OHS SuperCast June 24, 2015

Fall protection again was ranked first among OSHA's list of most frequently cited standards during FY 2014, and respiratory protection ranked fourth on that list. This June 24, 2015, Supercast features experts presenting on both topics, as well as confined spaces. Failing to comply with these standards costs companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in penalties every year; in April 2015, for example, a Wisconsin employer agreed to pay $98,000 in penalties to settle OSHA citations involving combustible dust and respiratory protection and an Illinois company faced $59,720 in proposed fines after being cited for asbestos and permit-required confined space violations.
