OSHA Training Event for Federal Employees to Be Held in August

Some of the topics covered during the event will include workplace violence, forklift handling and safety data sheets.

OSHA announced yesterday that it will be hosting a training event in August for federal employees.

From August 8 to 10, 2023, federal employees whose jobs involve health and safety can attend this free training either online or in person in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Seminars, to be held by OSHA's Office of Federal Agency Programs and its OSHA Training Institute, will cover numerous topics, including “fall protection, accident investigation, Construction Focus Four, confined spaces, workplace violence, job hazard analysis, machine guarding, forklift and material handling, and safety data sheets,” according to a news release.

Interested in signing up? Registration will be open from June 5 to July 14.
