Every organization has a set of core values that they abide by. These values, often called corporate values or company values, are a set of guiding principals and fundamental beliefs that help a group of people function together as a team and work toward a common business goal.
Safety professionals know all to well that there is no crystal ball that will tell you what the future holds and company management must be flexible with their ability to amend as a company grows and changes. As your business looks to refresh their core values, now is the time to insert your opinion that “safety” should be a core value.
