1,500 Expected at Minnesota Safety Council's 2017 Conference
More than 90 educational sessions are on the schedule. Highlights include sessions about distracted driving and also addressing Minnesota's growing population of aging drivers; slips and falls; preventing unintentional injuries at home; active shooter response and preventing workplace violence; office ergonomics; and much more.
The Minnesota Safety Council is estimating 1,500 safety professionals will gather next week for the 2017 Minnesota Safety and Health Conference. The May 16-18 event will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Its educational program includes nearly 90 educational sessions and programs, and the expo will feature more than 120 exhibitors.
The council's media relations representative, Lani Jordan, said the program highlights include sessions about distracted driving and also addressing Minnesota's growing population of aging drivers; slips and falls; preventing unintentional injuries at home; active shooter response and preventing workplace violence; office ergonomics; and much more.
