Deadline Extended for Prevention Media Contest Entries

The International Media Festival for Prevention is part of the XXI World Congress for Safety and Health at Work that will take place from Sept. 3-6, 2017, in Singapore.

There's still time to submit an entry in this year's International Media Festival for Prevention, now that the entry deadline has been extended to Feb. 28. The International Media Festival for Prevention is part of the XXI World Congress for Safety and Health at Work that will take place from Sept. 3-6, 2017, in Singapore.

The contest offers an overview of films and multimedia productions about safety and health at work from all over the world and provides an opportunity for participants to present their projects to an influential group of international safety and health professionals. Films and multimedia productions produced from January 2013 onward (e.g., websites, apps, web-based training, social media, and software) from national and international organizations, enterprises or institutions, agencies, or filmmakers are eligible.

Since 1990, the contest has regularly part of the World Congress for Safety and Health at Work. Awards are given to media productions that contribute to the improvement of safety and health at the workplace and are presented in "Film" and "Multimedia" categories.

The official languages of the World Congress are English, French, Spanish and German, and those languages should be used in completing an entry, but the films and multimedia products can be produced in any language.
