The Best U.S. Safety Expo Gets Better

One or two other domestic events have come close, and Germany's A+A is impressive. But the National Safety Council’s annual Congress firmly retains its crown as the best U.S. exposition for safety products. About 800 exhibitors will be showing their wares this month inside Chicago’s McCormick Place, with some of them stationed in two pavilions new to this expo, a Security Pavilion and a Home & Community Pavilion.

Live product demonstrations are catching on at U.S. safety shows and should be a highlight at booth 1886 during this Congress. The demo schedule there includes Salisbury Electrical Safety (11:30 a.m.), Sawstop (1 p.m.), Kimberly-Clark Professional (2 p.m.), and Enviroguard (3 p.m.) on Oct. 15; and Quest Technologies (11:30 a.m.), DuPont (1 p.m.), and Sperian (2 p.m.) on Oct. 16.

The council is again offering an E-Mail Oasis (booth 2364) and also a Welcome Reception in the Grand Ballroom, S100, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15. Chicago is the best city for the Congress, and this year's 95th annual event should be very good. We hope to see you there!
