NSC Deploys Wrist Action for "Safer World" Campaign

Thanks to the prominent display of the National Safety's Council's encircled green cross logo, there's a certain element of verdant splendor to every annual Congress and Expo. This year, however, things seem even greener than usual, and the reason is all in the wrist(s).

As part of its "Make a Safer World" campaign to promote safety in the workplace, NSC is selling stretchable wristbands imprinted with that slogan. The bands come individually wrapped in packages of five, and each package costs $5 (for members and nonmembers alike). All proceeds support the council's mission to "educate and influence people to prevent accidental injury and death," NSC says. The bands are merely one of a plethora of items available for purchase at the council's new Resource Center, Booth 403.

If you're unable to attend this year's event, you can still support the cause. To place a wristband order by phone, call 800-621-7619; internationally, call 630-775-2056. The product number is 04409-0000.
