American Chemical Society Debuts Nanotechnology Journal
The inaugural issue of ACS Nano, a peer-reviewed journal from the American Chemical Society's Publications Division, is now available. ACS says this foray into "one of the fastest growing research areas in chemistry and the related sciences" includes comprehensive articles and is headed by Editor Paul S. Weiss, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Physics at The Pennsylvania State University.
The debut issue includes articles from the research groups of David Allara, Ph.D., Hong-jie Dai, Ph.D., Prashant Kamat, Ph.D., and Frank Caruso, Ph.D.; a conversation with Nobel Laureate Heinrich Rohrer, Ph.D.; and an editorial by Paul Weiss, Ph.D. The journal will be published monthly in print and continuously online, ACS said; visit www.acsnano.org. ACS members can register at that site for free access during 2007.
ACS' Publications Division produces 36 peer-reviewed journals in the chemical and related sciences, including Journal of the American Chemical Society, as well as Chemical & Engineering News, a weekly news magazine.
