Union Pacific Hands Out 2007 Pinnacle Awards

Omaha, Neb.-based Union Pacific recently announced the list of recipients of its 2007 Pinnacle Award -- the 11th annual presentation of this award, which recognizes chemical and petrochemical customers for safety. All customers in those categories were invited to compete; they were judged on safe loading techniques, securement of shipments, and having achieved zero non-accident releases, UP said.

"We work closely with all customers to ensure the safe transportation of their commodities, and we are very impressed with the work of this year's winners."

Recipients of the 2007 award include CF Industries (Long Grove, Ill.); Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. L.P. (The Woodlands, Texas); Kennecott Utah Copper (Magna, Utah); Koch Sulfur Products LLC (Wichita, Kan.); NOVA Chemicals (Moontownship, Pa.); Olin Corp.
