Over One Hundred Businesses Cited and Fined by OSHA for Coronavirus Related Violations Since March
Many of the 112 citations have been given out in the month of October.

OSHA has cited 112 workplaces for coronavirus-related violations in the time between the start of the pandemic in March and October 15.
Establishments in states like Connecticut, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey and New York have been given citations after OSHA inspections.
The penalties of those citations adds up to a total of $1,603,544. Employers were cited for offenses that include failure to implement written respiratory protection programs, report injuries or illnesses and provide medical evaluations.
Twenty-seven of the cited establishments were cited between October 9 and October 15, with their penalties adding up to $318,388.
