OH&S SafetyPod: ASSP Safety 2020: Benefits of a Virtual Conference

OH&S Editor Sydny Shepard and Content Editor Amanda Smiley break down the go-to sessions of ASSP Safety 2020 Virtual as well as some tips for getting the most out of your virtual conference experience.

Educational sessions, virtual booths and digital networking events... oh my! We have so much to look forward to next week when the American Society of Safety Professionals' Safety 2020 Conference and Exposition begins next week. Since it can be a little overwhelming to attend a show as large as this one virtually, we wanted to break down some of the go-to sessions and give safety professionals a few tips for getting the most out of their virtual conference experience.

This is the second part of our podcast series about the American Society of Safety Professionals’ Safety 2020 Conference and Exposition. In the first episode of the series, I sat down with ASSP President Diana Stegall. She answered my questions about the conference pivot to a virtual event and how this new digital platform can benefit safety professionals. It was super informative and a great way to gear up for the show, so I suggest you start with that episode if you haven’t already given it a listen.

In this episode of the podcast, we are taking an even deeper dive into what Safety 2020 has to offer now that it has made the switch to a virtual event. I’m pleased to bring on OH&S Content Editor Amanda Smiley to talk us through some of the highlights of the conference, tips for making the most out of a virtual event and sessions you won’t want to miss.
