OSHA in Safety Partnership at Montana Hospital Project

The goal of the partnership is to prevent injuries and exposure to hazards during construction of the 110,500-square-foot addition. The project includes three buildings, an intensive care unit, a patient care tower, and administrative departments.

OSHA recently announced it has signed a strategic partnership with Layton Construction Company LLC to promote workers' safety and health during the construction of a new addition to the Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital in Bozeman, Mont.

The goal of the partnership is to prevent injuries and exposure to hazards during construction of the 110,500-square-foot addition. The project includes three buildings, an intensive care unit, a patient care tower, and administrative departments.

The two partners will provide training and outreach on work hazards related to falls, struck-by, electrical, amputations, and trenching and excavations. The partners also will raise awareness of OSHA's rulemaking and enforcement initiatives to prevent workplace hazards in the construction industry.
