Fiat Chrysler Recalls Nearly 297,000 Vehicles for Faulty Airbag Wiring

The company is specifically recalling older minivans because of a wiring problem.

According to an NBC report, Fiat Chrysler is recalling nearly 297,000 vehicles for a wiring issue. The recall affects the 2011-12 Dodge Grand Caravan minivans due to a wiring problem that can lead to an inadvertent air bag deployment.

So far the problem has been linked to 13 minor injuries, according to the report, which said 209,000 vehicles in the United States and 88,000 from Canada are included.
