DOT Announces Regulatory Reform Task Force

Deputy Secretary Jeffrey Rosen will serve as the Regulatory Reform Officer and Chairman of the Regulatory Task Force.

The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced Deputy Secretary Jeffrey Rosen will be the Department’s Regulatory Reform Officer and Chairman of the Regulatory Reform Task Force (RRTF). The RRTF was created in response to President Donald J. Trump's Executive Order 13777, which is attempting to alleviate regulatory constraints at federal agencies.

Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao has directed the new agency to also review rules that were issued at the end of the previous administration.
