The meeting will be held Nov. 15 in Washington, D.C.

OSHA announced it has scheduled a meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health's OSH Professionals Pipeline Work Group. The meeting will take place on Nov. 15 in Washington, D.C.

Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health Dr. David Michaels has asked the group to develop recommendations to develop the next generation of OSH professionals, according to the release. "The size of the field is small and there is increasing concern about how these gaps will be filled as the workforce ages," Michaels said./p>

The meeting will include discussions about the initiatives, best practices, and model programs to promote careers in occupational safety and health.
