EU-OSHA Hosting 'Work and Health' Workshop

EU-OSHA will host it during the 19th European Health Forum in Austria Sept. 28-30.

Safe and healthy workplaces are key to ensuring good health in general and reducing health care costs., says EU-OSHA in its invitation to stakeholders about a "Work and Health" workshop the agency is hosting during the 2016 European Health Forum in Bad Hofgastein, Austria, Sept. 28-30.

The workshop will illustrate how workplaces "can help to relieve the unprecedented pressures on Europe's health systems" and will bring together health policy-makers and experts, according to the agency, which calls the event "one of the most important health-related events of the year."

The 19th European Health Forum aims to help policy-makers focus on and discuss the next steps for a healthier Europe. With a "Demographics and Diversity in Europe -- New Solutions for Health" theme, it invites attendees to search for new solutions in order to maintain sustainable health systems.
