HHS Appoints Nine to Health IT Advisory Panels

The Health Information Technology Standards Committee and one new member to the Health Information Technology Policy Committee allow stakeholders and the public to provide direct input to HHS on the implementation and use of health IT.

This week, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell appointed eight new members of the Health Information Technology Standards Committee and one new member to the Health Information Technology Policy Committee, two panels that provide the opportunity for stakeholders and the public to provide direct input to HHS on the implementation and use of health IT. Both committees are supported by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
