Campbell Institute Awards Innovation in the Workplace Honorees

Cummins Components Filtration and Deb Group were honored at the 2016 Innovation Challenge.

The National Safety Council's Campbell Institute and the Stewardship Action Council have announced two honorees of the 2016 Innovation Challenge: Cummins Components Filtration, located in Izmir, Turkey, was selected for its health and well-being program and Deb Group for its "Fight Occupational Skin Disease" campaign.

The challenge recognizes organizations for their achievement in the planning and/or implementation of an innovative program addressing critical environmental, health and safety topics.

"Innovation is crucial to advancing the future of environmental, health and safety, but it is too often overlooked," said John Dony, director of the Campbell Institute. "We are honored to highlight and share the best practices of organizations like Cummins Components Filtration and Deb Group so that more workers can be protected."

Cummins Components Filtration and Deb Group will be recognized at the Campbell Institute Symposium taking place Feb. 25-26 in Austin, Texas. Visit the thecampbellinstitute.org/institute/innovation-challenge for more information.
