FAA Adds New Modules to Safety Website
Six new accident modules have been added. The library is available to the public and captures information learned from some of the world's most historically significant accidents.
The Federal Aviation Administration has added six new accident modules to its "Lessons Learned" online safety library. The library is available to the public and captures information learned from some of the world's most historically significant accidents.
The new modules are: the Capital Airlines Viscount of 1960, the Atlantic Southeast EMB-120 1995, the Birgenair B757 of 1996, the Fine Air DC-8 of 1997, the Air France Concorde of 2000, and the British Airways B777 of 2008.
The library now has 76 modules in total with almost 20,000 subscribers. It began six years ago with the release of 10 modules. A combination of videos, animation, and photography acts as a means to educate and engage its readers.
