Coast Guard Taking More Comments on Cruise Ship Security Rule

The comment period is now open for 60 days.

The U.S. Coast Guard has reopened the comment period for the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) entitled Consolidated Cruise Ship Security Regulations, which it published on December 10, 2014. Stakeholders now have 60 days in which to submit comments about it.

The agency announced it is reopening the comment period because it omitted from the docket the accompanying Regulatory Analysis.
