IHMM Celebrating 30th Anniversary on Aug. 26

The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, IHMM, is presenting a 30 Year Celebration Symposium Aug. 26 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. The event takes place during the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals' Aug. 24-27 annual conference there. The symposium's title is "Pillars of Change," and it is set for 4-8 p.m.

Speakers representing three pillars -- environment, safety/industrial hygiene, and transportation -- are scheduled to take part. The safety/IH speakers are ASSE 2012-2013 President Rick Pollock, CSP, who is the president and founder of CLMI Safety Training Inc., and Dan Anna, Ph.D., CSP, CIH, AIHA's president-elect and senior industrial hygienist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
