OSHA to Hold Federal Worker Safety Training Event

OSHA announced it will be hosting a training event July 29-31 in Arlington Heights, Ill., focused on enhancing federal workers' health and safety.

OSHA will be conducting a three-day training event July 29-31 aimed at enhancing federal worker safety and health, the agency announced. The training will focus on the federal agency staff responsible for workplace safety and health issues and will provide the necessary information for keeping workers safe and healthy on the job.

The OSHA Training Institute and OSHA's Office of Federal Agency Programs will be conducting the training in the form of a series of half-day seminars that cover topic such as heat stress, fall protection, electrical hazards and various hazards outlined in OSHA's National Emphasis Program. The event will be held at the OSHA Training Institute on 2020 S. Arlington Heights Rd. in Arlington Heights, Ill. Students can enroll up until July 23.
