AIHA, ACGIH Set to Present Top Awards

San Antonio's Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is the site for AIHce 2014, the year's best industrial hygiene conference.

Both the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists will present their top annual awards during next month's AIHce Conference & Expo in San Antonio.

The AIHA recipients and their awards include Philip R. Morey, Ph.D., MS, CIH, Edward J. Baier Technical Achievement Award; Michael Harris, Ph.D., CIH, Donald E. Cummings Memorial Award; Michael A. Jayjock, Ph.D., CIH, AIHA Distinguished Service Award; Catherine A. Hovde, CIH, CSP, Kusnetz Award; Denese A. Deeds, CIH, Alice Hamilton Award; and Karen Messing, Ph.D., Yant Award.

The ACGIH recipients and their awards include Franklin E. Mirer, Ph.D., CIH, Herbert E. Stokinger Award; Catherine A. Hovde, CIH, CSP, John J. Bloomfield Award; Beverly S. Cohen, Ph.D., Meritorious Achievement Award; and Tom O’Connor, MPH, William Steiger Memorial Award.
