Illinois Integrated Airline Services Cited for Hazards Totaling $55,000 in Proposed Fines

OSHA cites the company for two repeat safety violations

Integrated Airline Services Inc. – whose shipping and receiving warehouse is based in Franklin Park, IL – has been cited by OSHA for two repeat safety violations, according to a press release from OSHA. The repeat safety violations were discovered during a September inspection prompted by a complaint that the company operated industrial vehicles in disrepair.

The company faces $55,000 in proposed penalties for two repeat violations. First, the company failed to mount removable fuel tanks securely on powered industrial trucks to prevent them from jarring loose, slipping or falling during operation. The second violation is for operating vehicles with bad tires, missing or damaged panels and broken hydraulics, according to the press release.

The company provides “tailor-made services to air carriers.”
