Reser's Products Recalled for Possible Listeria
The Oregon-based food company has recalled more than 100,000 ready-to-eat products.
According to a press release from the company's website, Reser's Fine Foods has recalled around 109,000 pre-packaged foods due to possible Listeria contamination. Though no one has yet been reported ill, the company recalled the products because of the serious health risks associated with Listeria.
The goods were distributed in both the United States and Canada. And according to an article from Food Safety News, the packages of food that have been recalled include pasta, coleslaw, potato salad, and ice cream and are marked with a Use-by or Best-By Date, followed by a plant identifier code of 20.
