Subaru Gasoline Generators Recalled for Fuel Leak
The leak poses a fire risk, but no injuries or property damage has been reported, according to CPSC.
Robin America Inc., of Lake Zurich, Ill., has recalled a Subaru portable gasoline-powered generator because it received four reports of leaks from the fuel tank, which pose a risk of fire and burns, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced this week.
They were manufactured in China by Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., of Tokyo and sold at authorized Subaru Power Equipment dealers nationwide, including online dealers, between September 2011 and January 2013 for approximately $920 to $1,800.
No injuries or property damage have been reported. Consumers are asked to stop using them immediately contact Robin America to schedule a free repair.
