OSHA Requests Construction Safety Suggestions to Update Standards
To improve safety standards, OSHA is turning to the public for suggestions.
Seeking to improve construction industry standards, OSHA requests input from those in the field every day. In this fourth phase of the Standards Improvement Project, OSHA is inviting the public, including employees, employers and employee representatives, to submit their recommendations to improve construction safety.
OSHA began the Standards Improvement Project in 1996 and this most recent call for suggestions will allow submitted suggestions to be reviewed for inclusion in any future rulemaking.
Suggestions can be submitted by mail, fax, telephone, or online by Feb. 4, 2013.
