Finnish Institute Hosting Second Nanosafety Joint Workshop
Set for Oct. 25-26 in Helsinki, the event is intended to advance the EU-U.S. collaboration and raise the Communities of Research to a new level of activity.
Helsinki, Finland is the location of the second Joint Workshop between the European Union and the United States focused on their collaboration on nanosafety research. This event is set for Oct. 25-26, with a welcoming reception taking place Oct. 24. The sponsor is the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
Intended to advance the EU-U.S. collaboration, the workshop also aims to develop the Communities of Research (CoR) collaboration and to raise these to a new level of activity. The workshop is open to scientists, policymakers, regulators, administrators, regulatory authorities, and decision-makers from academia, research institutes, and industry.
The first Joint Workshop took place last year in Washington, D.C. The proceedings from that first workshop, a 66-page PDF that includes a four-page list of the participants and links to presentations, were posted this week on the website http://us-eu.org/.
