New President Announced at Honeywell Safety Products

Honeywell has appointed Jack Boss as president for Honeywell Safety Products, which is a leading global provider of PPE and is part of the Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions' Life Safety business.
Boss had rejoined Honeywell in 2004 and most recently was vice president and general manager of Honeywell Specialty Products. He worked for AlliedSignal, a predecessor of Honeywell, from 1988 to 1996, in sales and marketing management positions. Honeywell's announcement said he received the Honeywell Premier Achievement Award in 2008 for his work to grow the Specialty Chemicals business.
Prior to rejoining Honeywell in 2004, Boss worked at Great Lakes Chemical, serving first as vice president and general manager of Fine Chemicals and then as vice president and general manager of Fluorines. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of West Virginia and an MBA in marketing and finance from Rutgers, according to the announcement.
Honeywell Safety Products' offerings include head, hearing, eye/face, respiratory, hand, footwear, clothing, and fall protection.
