IGCC Launches Ace Awards Competition
One of the categories is social responsibility, asking how the gift card program assisted the IGCC member or its client in achieving their environmental, philanthropic, and corporate citizen goals.
The Incentive Gift Card Council announced its first-ever Ace Awards competition on Jan. 16, saying it will recognize and showcase IGCC members and their clients for exemplary gift card programs and practices. The competition is modeled on the Incentive Marketing Association's Circle of Excellence Award.
The Ace Award winners will receive recognition throughout the year at industry events, in industry publications, and at an awards ceremony to be held at the 2012 IMA Summit, which will take place July 29-31 in Washington, D.C.
IGCC said gift card programs can compete in these categories:
- Moving the Needle: How have gift cards increased results in incentive and/or loyalty programs?
- Technology & Innovation: How has technology and innovation increased the results of a gift card program, and why was its use appropriate?
- Social Responsibility: How did a program assist the IGCC member or its client in achieving their environmental, philanthropic, and corporate citizen goals?
The deadline for all entries is April 16. Contest rules, an entry form, and further information is posted at the IGCC website, www.usegiftcards.org. For more information, contact Karen Renk, CAE, IMA's executive director, at [email protected] or 630-369-7780.
