AIHA Signs Agreement with Canadian Counterpart
The memorandum of understanding with the Canadian Council of Occupational Hygiene/Conseil Canadien d’Hygiene du Travail will bring about joint educational programming, including at the AIHce conferences.
The American Industrial Hygiene Association® signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on June 2 with the Canadian Council of Occupational Hygiene/Conseil Canadien d’Hygiene du Travail that spells out joint activities on a broad front, including contributions to the annual American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo.
AIHA’s President, Elizabeth Pullen, CIH, said the MOU begins a strong partnership. "I'm looking forward to working with CCOH, who represents industrial hygiene organizations in the Canadian provinces," she said. "We think that the collaboration will provide a great opportunity for both AIHA and CCOH to further our mission and goals of protecting worker health."
