I2P2, Recordkeeping on NACOSH Agenda
The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health will meet June 22 in Washington, D.C., after subgroups on those two topics meet Jan. 21.
The June 22 meeting of OSHA's National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) will include presentations on two current priorities for OSHA's leadership, recordkeeping and injury and illness prevention programs, after subgroups on each topic meet Jan. 21. The meetings will take place at Labor Department headquarters, 200 Constitution Ave. NW in Washington, D.C.
All are open to the public. The subgroups will meet from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 21 and then will report to the full committee on June 22, according to OSHA's notice.
The subgroups were formed at NACOSH's Jan. 20-21, 2011, meeting.
C0omments, requests to speak, speaker presentations, and requests for special accommodation must be submitted by June 16.
Both OSHA Assistant Secretary Dr. David Michaels and NIOSH Director Dr. John Howard are scheduled to speak during the June 22 meeting, which will include a discussion with OSHA and NIOSH on chemical policy, according to the tentative agenda.
NACOSH meetings are transcribed and minutes of meetings are included in the public record.
