NIOSH Seeks NORA Award Nominations
Two awards for research work that supports the National Occupational Research Agenda will be presented in July in Cincinnati. May 18 is the deadline to submit a nomination.
The National Occupational Research Agenda Liaison Committee and NIOSH are seeking nominations for two important health and safety awards that will be presented during the seventh NORA Symposium, July 12-13 in Cincinnati. May 18 is the deadline to submit nominations for both.
The NORA Partnering Award for Worker Health and Safety was first given in 1999 and recognizes collaborative research achievements that have advanced prevention, protection, and intervention in occupational safety and health. Visit this website to submit a nomination.
The second award, the NORA Innovative Research Award for Worker Health and Safety, was first given in 2006 and recognizes innovative research in one of the 21 NORA priority areas from the first decade or in another area that the nominator justifies is a high priority for worker health, such as work that addresses one or more goals in the sector strategic plans.
