Honeywell Giving 2011 Outlook Tomorrow

The early signs on Dec. 10 were promising: The company raised its dividend by 10 percent.

Honeywell will conduct its 2011 Outlook conference call with investors beginning at 9 a.m. EST tomorrow, Dec. 15, and will post related presentation materials on the investor relations section of its website ahead of the call. There's every reason to expect a rosy outlook because the company, now a dominant force in PPE manufacturing, announced a 10 percent increase in its dividend Dec. 10.

>"Raising the dividend rate by 10 percent reflects Honeywell's strong cash generation and the continued improvement in our underlying business performance," Honeywell Chairman and CEO Dave Cote said Dec. 10. "We're committed to delivering shareowner value and confident that our great positions in good industries will help drive Honeywell's growth and performance over the long-term."

The dividend was raised by 12 cents per common share, from $1.21 to $1.33 on an annual basis, effective with the first quarter 2011 dividend payment.

To hear the conference call, dial 719-325-2426 a few minutes before it begins and tell the operator you are dialing in for Honeywell's investor conference call. The call can be replayed from noon EST Dec. 15 until midnight Dec. 22 by calling 719-457-0820. The access code is 4135997.
