Tee It Up for Safety Industry's Future

The ASSE Foundation's golf outing held each year in conjunction with the society's PDC & Expo will take place this year at the renowned Waverly Woods course. According to ASSE, 535 golf course rating panelists for Golf Digest magazine ranked Arthur Hills, Waverly's designer, as one of their Top Five "Favorite Present Day Architects."

The $145 registration fee for the outing includes your green fee, cart rental, range balls, and lunch. Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams and other activities such as longest drive and closest to the pin. This event benefits ASSEF’s scholarship program, which helps foster future SH&E professionals. ASSE says you can support the Foundation by registering individually or as a foursome, or by encouraging your company to sponsor the event at one of several levels ranging from $250 to $3,000.

The outing has a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 13. For more details, visit www.Safety2010.org. For more about the golf course, go to www.waverlywoods.com. Fore!
