Sessions to Investigate Unsolved IH Mysteries

Back by popular demand in an expanded form, the interactive "Unsolved IH Mysteries Workshop" will again be offered at this year's AIHce--thrice. The program, which includes the presentation of actual case studies involving IH field work, prompts participants to work together in groups to solve the "mystery." Participants have all the data, know all the players, and understand all the circumstances, but they are not told the outcome, which is where the fun begins. After discussing the cases and the potential remedies, each group presents its results, and, in the end, the facilitator explains what actually occurred.

This year, to accommodate more participants, the workshop will be presented an unprecedented three times--once per weekday of the conference proper, Monday through Wednesday, June 1-3, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Each workshop is limited to 30 participants, and the fee for each session is $35 in advance, a price that includes a boxed lunch. The three sessions will feature different workshop facilitators.

John Siebert, CIH, CSP, of the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Washington, D.C., is on tap to facilitate Monday's session.

Rob MacLeod, CIH, CSP, CRSP, CCEP, of Celtic Exploration in Calgary, B.C., will lead Tuesday's event.

And Fred Boelter, CIH, PE, BCEE, of Chicago-based Environ International, is slated to facilitate Wednesday's.
