Free CHEMTREC Training Video Offered to Emergency Responders
Emergency responders may find it worthwhile to watch a new, free training video about CHEMTREC (the CHEMical TRansportation Emergency Center), which is a 24-hour emergency resource founded by the chemical industry in 1971.

CHEMTREC's services include more than 4 million Material Safety Data Sheets; a database of more than 30,000 manufacturers, shippers, carriers, public organizations, and private resources; and what the organization describes as a "state-of-the-art telecommunications system that supports the virtual emergency response team, seamlessly linking on-scene responders with chemical experts, transportation companies, medical experts, and clean-up efforts."
